Features
Facial expressions, clothes can be ripped, when a fighter is hit they bruise up or bleed, and most of all blood, and GORY FATALITIES. Limbs can be shattered, and effects the fighters.
Kombat
The game features intense hand-to-hand and special-weapon combat, secret hidden moves and combinations with deadly body blows and fatalities. Throwing will also have a huge part in the game. There will be a completely redesigned multiple-move-set fighting system. Each character will have several "move sets" (fighting styles) that players can selectively change during the match. Some weapons are tied to different fighting styles and others can be found in the fighting area's. The game will focus less on the magical abilities of the characters, like the shooting of projectiles, and more on the kicking and punching of different styles.
Fighting Styles
Each Fighter will have three fighting styles that they can use and switch during a fight. Here are the confirmed styles:

There will be fatalities, and thankfully no Babalities, Anamalities, and Friendships. Also there will be a mini of the returning Test Your Might.
The Plot
The Plot Troughout Mortal Kombat's history, many have attempted and failed to take control of the tournament and therefore gain immortality. Now, two sorcerors, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, unable to achieve their goal of immortality seperately, join forces. This Deadly Alliance ensure the destruction of Rayden and the mortals. With their combined power, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi represent Earth's greatest threat.
Kharacters
So far the characters below are all confirmed to be in the game. Best of all is that Liu Kang dies in the inro of the game. That is also confirmed. I geuss he wasn't the Chosen One for long! Anyways here are all the confirmed characters:
